Ramelius bidding for Spartan?. It's been speculated upon for months.
Ramelius buying the Never Never deposit is more likely though it does not deliver a 10 year mine at this stage though a '5 year mine plan is on its way' says SPR.
I think it's curious that in recent SPR presentations the Dalgaranga resources table is in grey whereas Never Never is in gold colour. Although the Dalgaranga processing plant could be useful to Ramelius were transporting it to Rebecca Roe can be shown to be feasible.
So, short answer.........I don't know.
The perennial problem of what to do with the Edna May mine must be exercising the minds of RMS shareholders. Recently Ramelius could have sold enough anticipated gold production from the Edna May cutback [ say 100kozs] at A$4000 +per ounze to add another 5 years + of mine life there.But I don't think the MD or his board have the stomach for making such a radical decision.
