i was asking myself that as well, if the debt is linked to the JV then you can assume that this 'HK group' are our new JV partners, but then they would be paying $$$ for a piece of Cockatoo in addition to the debt provided..

what they did say is that the debt is subject to final approval & that they expected to conclude the debt deal AND the JV 'restructure' (restructure also points to WEG) by Friday 8th march.. this would be alot easier if they dealing with one and the same company ie. the debt and the JV negotiations are with HK Group.. and not HK Group & WEG.

given our past form friday 8th march is 50/50 chance at best, i hope the two are linked as this means WEG are gone, hoping for an outcome one way or another on friday..
