@eagle888; nor has Sweden avoided Covid restrictions. It's government has repeatedly panicked and imposed half-hearted and short-term, knee-jerk measures that have proven worse than useless.
Sweden is very heavily dependent on international tourism - something that all by vaporised after March 2020. That should have led to more easily controllable outbreaks in what is an essentially rural country - even Stockholm is not that big!
It did NOT!
The Swedish Clayton's 'government' has created an absolute bluddy mess and now risks international tourists not returning because of the perception Sweden isn't safe and its government doesn't care anyway.
