How do people see the possible current takeover of Graincorp by foreigners. Looks like the Federal Liberal Government is the last hope of keeping this company in Australian hands. For me they should not allow the takeover to go ahead on the grounds of national interest. Have to protect the farmers and the quality infrastructure that this company has access too. We cant just sell of everything we have as Australians to foreigners. Im not against takeovers per se, I think for example that Warrnambool Cheese and Butter takeover should be allowed to go through but I just have a differnt view on Graincorp. Graincorp should be allowed to continue to grow as an important Australian agricultural company.
