Shorten is using the donation diversion as the issue and not Dastyari's treachery.

Shorten believes that Dastyari is perfectly fit to fill any role in parliament. This is an appalling misjudgement by Shorten.

Shorten is gambling on Turnbull burning out after one day and going to water. The LNP needs to pounce on Turnbull if he burns out and replace him immediately. Turnbull is not a fighter, he is more in the KRudd mould.
