VUL is signing offtakes and putting pen on paper:

• They only put out a PFS this year.
• It is not clear how they are funding their project/s.
• They have no permits.
• It is not clear that DLE is proven at scale or what effects it may have on the environment.
• German posters here have spoken about the opposition VUL may face from local stakeholders concerned about the above point. Meaning, Germany is probably no better than Sweden (maybe even worse) as a jurisdiction for resource extraction.

The difference is that lithium doesn't have a lengthy qualification process like graphite anode. I think technically we could see offtakes/agreements anytime from now onwards. But realistically, I think they will come in 12-18 months at the earliest (please prove me wrong Mark Thompson).
