Thank you for those sensible comments yet have never really seen wage inflation as the major threat.
Main threat to US is inability to increase productivity:
slow in improving communication - doctrinaire veto of Huawei's world best 5G - oligopoly of 'old' tech interests
despite Tesla, still slow in moving to electric powered movement and transport - vested interests of big oil and 'old' car makers
slow in harnessing near free renewable energy - coal and oil lobby
society fractured by Trump atrophy - loss of adaptability
Main threat likely to be stagflation.
