I think there was some justification for America to arm and train the Mujahideen who defeated Russia and forced them to withdraw

what was unforgivable is that as soon as the bullets stopped - so did American funding -

it was obvious that something would step into the gap - and, in stepped the Taliban -- basically - Americans creation.

That they went on to bomb New York - well - sorry fellas - it would have been a lot cheaper in pain and agony to build some schools and allow Afghans to set up something solid themselves


Now - America and us probably will have poop to pay for decades more - as if it hasn't already been costly enough and is ongoing.

We can in Australia blame no one but ourselves. - Americans - they can blame no one but themselves.
