kites don't flap in the distance if they lose their string at all
I built the mother of all kites - a bloody monster -
took two of us to hold the bugger in a light breeze
one day - the rope broke (string as you call it) --
I thought -- oooopsie - in the potential poo here - this thing was bigger than an F111 - I could see it crashing through some school roof and all hell breaking loose -------
what happened???
all it did was sit there ----------- gracefully vertically descended to the ground and landed peacefully
naturally I claimed superior design and inbuilt safety
