have been following this discussion. ian's posts are alwats authoritative; very well-researched and obviously backed by a wealth of experience in the industry. the fact remains that the only TRUE value of a stock is the price that bidders/sellers agree upon (at any particular moment), regardless of the 'fundamentals.' Tomorow, things might change.... Babcock and Brown has excellent figures on paper but has been retreating recently and so have their offshoot Babcock Capital since the IPO. with any stock, if you're TRADING, you can only analyse charts, see what's happened in the past (as a GUIDE), follow the action and have your STOPLOSS fixed - and stick to it. so, if ian has missed out on good gains on KAR, it is not too late... plenty of action still left. just look at today's depth... Hold.
