As if I hadn't read enough stupid stories today. Now I pull an article off Ars Techina- awesome website, by the way- which deals with the State of Arkansas mandating that teachers there may now teach creationism as a valid scientific discipline.

They must have short memories over there. Arkansas already tried it and were promptly slapped down by a District Court judge.

Louisiana tried it and it went to SCOTUS before they received their comeuppance.

And of course, Pennsylvania didn't want to be left out and they got themselves a spanking by a Republican judge.

Pretty obvious how this one is going to go. Any schoolteacher that dares to go down this idiotic route is going to be sued to smithereens, as well as the local school board.
