Snow and frozen lakes and really cold ice are fine, with a long enough stopping distance. Driven on packed snow at 140kph, no problems. Even fresh snow is ok if it isn’t sitting on ice. Mine are not imaginary scenarios, you need to try them for yourself with the latest ESF or whatever initials your car has, if the momentum exceeds your grip, you’re gone.
