You register and connect all 'your' active social accounts; email; phone; Office 365 etc.

Your contacts from all platforms then aggregate into Thred to form a master contact database which you can search per platform or under "all" contacts.

    You create a thred with a Title/Image/Emojis.

You then "Invite" whomever you wish to choose from the various different networks of aggregated contacts in Thred to join your Thred.

    You chat.

That's the core function in a nutshell.
There are SM management tools to come through launch of the AI engine (which I haven't mentioned as per previous comments and aren't "live" yet) and obviously the ability to use 3rd party services like Uber; Open Table; Hotels.com; Delivery Hero yadda yadda certainly makes the Thred platform unique.

If the invitee does not have Thred they are notified via DM or text on whichever platform Thred identifies them from in your contacts list. "You have been invited to a Thred about "Blank" head over to (Link) to get started." This encourages registration with Thred by those invited. Think snowball effect. For every person your friend then invites to their Thred they receive a DM to join.

It's a personal invite so it is not posted to a FB timeline or a Twitter feed for everybody to see. Which is good as it's a private messaging service.

Facebook is a broadcasting network much like Twitter. Thred is not seeking to make FB or Twitter defunct however it will be able to do some pretty unique stuff in regard to managing your social experiences and profiles across them.

There is no reliance on one individual platform. If FB fell over and was replaced by the next big thing broadcasting network then Thred would just link to your contacts through the new network and add them to the list. If the SM landscape grows with new players on the scene then Thred grows or adapts to that changing landscape. Thred isn't reliant on one platform to survive, it's relying on Social Media as a whole. The bigger the Social Media realm gets the bigger the potential user base grows.

Ive already got people asking me to hook them up. There is clearly demand for something like this.
The market needs to wake up and pay some respect to this technology. Alas we seem to be a bit "slow" over here for some reason..

Initially it was communicated that the invitee doesn't need to join to participate but they would only see messages from the creator of the Thred. In order to participate in the full group chat experience and see and respond to all messages (and likely use the service functions) then they would need to register. I am not sure if that is still accurate.

Scaling a user base fast shouldn't be difficult when everybody you want to chat with gets an automatic invite to register for free to a new chat app that boasts some quite unique and very useful functionality. You may have 300 contacts. You might invite 10 to a Thred. Those 10 may have 300 contacts each etc etc.
    you get the picture.

    Hope that clarifies.
