Jesus here unquestionably and independently of himself, references the Father Alone as the only True God when he was here.
After the cross, exalted and glorified, he is now an only BEGOTTEN God John 1:18, confirming Jesus words in John 17:3 and his quote from the OT ->
Hear, Israel! Yehowah our God Yehowah ONE is.
Yehowshuwa -> Jesus is NOT Yehowah.

So ones First base is, to know who and what to accept for eternal life and we have that from Jesus himself.

"receive the indwelling Holy Spirit -" = That IS the Father, the very reason Jesus Never said in 17:3, that you needed to also know this created Holy Spirit person for eternal life, and neither does any other verse say such.

When Paul is comforting those that had lost loved ones, please do tell WHY he never said the likes of, hey guys don't worry as their soul is already there in heaven???????????????

Gens is VERY CLEAR that when Adam got the breath of life (air we breath) through his Nostrils, he BECAME a living Soul and not also received a soul on top of that.
The Soul is the whole package of the person, brain being the storage bank so to speak, the Pilot and that is what is resurrected When Jesus returns at the end of the Tribulation, just before the Wrath of God.
