I was just having another think on orders received from our distributors and I recall a share on my watchlist "BCC" Beam Communications
BCC do make announcements on orders .. I guess to distributors/wholesalers - so perhaps there is some reasoning behind not so much announcing sales to end users but announcing tests shipped to our Distributors. Particularly big orders and also updating total tests sold to each Distributor.
These test orders are final and non returnable - so do represent sales.

For example:
Anteotech is pleased to announce the receipt of an order from our SE Asian distributor for 250,000 tests and 100 Eugeni readers.

and

Anteotech is pleased to announce the receipt of an order from our SE Asian distributor for 500,000 tests. This brings total tests ordered to date from our SE Asian distributor to 900,000 tests
