I spent a week in Singapore, but wouldn't do it for longer - I disliked the humidity.

Thing I remember about it though was that I was running a training course at the Microsoft office and on the news a subway that was being built had collapsed an 8 lane highway near to the office, killing 7 Malaysians in the process.

I was worried that the chaos around losing an 8 lane highway in downtown Sing would mean that no-one could get to the office the next day (and I might have to walk in the humidity!).

When I enquired with the conceirge about it they informed me "oh, no-one really uses that road anymore anyway".

LOL

Can you imagine what Melbourne or Sydney traffic would be like with an 8 lane highway going down for a few weeks?
