    Another interesting figure was the approval rating of West Australians for the mining tax - in the high forties. This is an indication that the high level of support generally is rock solid. The general movement in sentiment for the tax will increase. Of course we will not get to one hundred percent as there are always some who, because of their political intransigence, will never be convinced (or admit) that the tax is good economics. Take all of the other positives into account: the passing of the carbon tax, the NBN etc, etc and etc and things are looking rosy. There are going to be a lot of extremely disappointed Liberals in around two years time when the people give judgment of the Labor government - and the opposition. There are some in here who have been predicting a Liberal win and a Labor destined to three or more terms in opposition; boy are they in for a shock.
