Thanks Niu and Savvy for having a sensible discussion. Evaporation pond simulations with precipitation are complex in fact I have done a couple for a project in Peru. But without much more data it is just a guess.
I would just note that comparing most recent presentation (31/8) with the previous diagram, Li inventory was supposed to go up, it went actually down (no vertical scale this time). It is claimed that all problems are resolved however predicted production rate for 2018 is 14000 t/y and not 17500 t/y. Could be just depleted ponds, who knows. They should have learned a lot by now. If they prove me wrong in next report and follow model predictions, I will invest.
