the time has come

Well at last! the longtermers may say with glee
but still the knockers try to put fear in you and me
My friends, you were warned that this announcement was near
Sleep well now as there is no need to fear
the ratification of all the great planning and toil
of Range management and others without foil
it is now formulated, written and signed
in perfect timing as the stars are alligned
we are pleased that you will now get the reward
for your patience, valour and prayers to the Lord
It is unfortunate for those doubtors that now have missed out
but there has been many hints more like a shout
So no excuses from those without a position
cos now you will have to pay for your execution
This is only the beginning of what will be historic
for a small Aussie battler whose rise will be meteoric
we would like to invite all holders to a party and celebration
the time and date to be set for this mighty commemoration
It will be a fantastic time to put names to faces
and hear about the stories of experiences and far places
but mostly the chances to party and play
for we deserve our merits on this great day
we have stuck together thick and thin
while others went off on a tangent and spin
