Thanks all for sharing your thoughts on the CEO. Nothing like a forum to be an anonymous ahole to provoke a response. Nice to know he's a nice bloke and I'm sure there's some pressure being bought to bear. He may be trying hard, turning up to work, all sorts of 'good' stuff, but what are the results he's achieved in terms of bringing in the best people and / or getting deals? If I were an impartial investor, which I am because i have no personal ties to the people, and didn't give a fig about how nice he is and just wanted to understand the commercial outcomes and potential for return on investment, then there is no doubt some questions to be raised over the ability to deliver on the key KPI's. No CSO. No deals for 5 years. CR after CR, etc.... We need commercial outcomes (deals) if we're to have any expectation of a return.
So, elevating it above the "he's a nice guy" response does anyone have any insights into what he's actually doing? Dots he's joining? People he's getting on the hook? As far as I can tell he keep's putting the "we'll wait for the advancements in science then we'll strike it rich" value proposition forward.... for the last few years now. Stringing everyone along. In the meantime we burn through cash and get diluted.
Please note that I am not disgruntled. I've made good money on it over the years and have a cost base of just over 1c, so I'm well ahead. Also, not a pessimist, otherwise I wouldn't be interested in spec stocks like this. Just had expectations of them to do more as I thought the potential in the science was/is huge. I mean world changing huge. But, I keep seeing lots of other firms in or around this space overtaking us while we sit on the verge.
An TB, putting up an argument that its gone from 22 to 33 in the space of a few months is a bit silly. i mean, where did we start years and years ago? Answer: ahead of 33, so...?
