Yes i saw similar on groote island when i was there years ago working for gemco. The locals would buy a brand new outboard motor and if it played up they drop on ground and buy a new one. Same with trail bikes. Ride itvtill it stops and just push it off the side of the road. They have no appreciation of how to earn anything. Everything is just handed to them.
