Hi Simon,
Good post again...you missed the problem with the options but it was picked up by @ddzx and the pressure they will present the SP, I have mentioned my concerns with those options for over two years now and have a much greater concern of how they have been possibly used by some parties for their financial gain, all just my wild speculation, but just consider the various scenarios that might be possible with some many options?
Also good to see my theory I had as to why you decided to post again on my favorite G stock is confirmed?
On the subject of environmentally friendly vs COG...this is a good read ( @tobyjack 's post )
"I don’t think this will have a kickback," said Luh, noting that companies would continue to buy cheaply-sourced material, regardless of environmental issues."
&
"Capital expenditure can be as low as $2m, versus $30-40m in other parts of the world, while in terms of operational costs, labour costs pale in comparison, even to those in Africa."

China will not import Natural G, they want to be self sufficient and control the whole supply chain and strengthen their GDP by using domestic product. IMO MNS realized this a while ago.
You are correct in saying SYR looks great on paper, but only at full capacity, and there will be some years of heart-ship between now and 2020/21. The SP was seriously over inflated @ $6+ and still has a lot of cream left @ $3.60
MNS SP was/is also very top heavy considering there is not ONE official End User confirmation/ validation of how good their product is, so far we only got some Professor and Engineers but nothing from any Multinational Corporation willing to make a public statement?
Best hope here is if MNS get's to find a way to replace some of the Synthetic Supply Chain, but there was a considerable tone down regarding this possibility at the AGM, I really do they will manage as that will dramatically increase the value for KNL, SYR & MNS. But who knows maybe a big Household Name will sign the dotted line any day now and the whole G sector initiates Hyper-drive, that would also be fantastic.
Once again like your writing style very much and I think if you would allow some value in your analysis for scenarios such as Strategic Alliance, value @ current SP, where it is and why, Instos backing relatively illiquid stocks...etc.
