Dead friends and relatives appear at the patients bedside, to accompany them to the next life, from what I've heard.

I've heard and seen a lot of strange and alarming things in my hospital career.

A sudden peace comes over the dying person, as they drift off to the other side.

I'm talking about the Elderly, not a heavily medicated Cancer patient for example.

Sometimes the person will exhibit some strange behavior in their final days, like talking to invisible people etc.

Even if they didn't have dementia.

You sense that the end is near.

And nine times out of ten, the patient dies within days.

That's my experience from working in Aged Care.
