    If it is a rights issue, there will be a trading period of about 5 days, they will be listed for that period and just trade as any other share. In your case lets say you still hold 4.5M at the time and it's a 1 for 10 rights issue. You will receive 450K rights if you can sell them for 1c i.e 50% difference between offer price and market price, you would receive $4.5K
