all very true DT unfortuantely

although it is politics the world over but we certainly are no better.

That said we must work with what we've got and express our displeasure about how things are run when we believe the government is doing a bad job or making monumental errors.
As in the last election the Australian people get the opportunity to say what they feel and take a government out of power or put a government in power.
Whilst the Australian people cannot guarantee promises will be kept (history has shown that they rarely are)we get the opportunity to choose and have our say.
That is the one thing that makes it all worthwhile and inspite of Howards stuff ups towwards the end of his reign and Rudds current stuff ups ultimately I believe any harm whilst not enjoyable can be undone although in the current case the down side of this current turmoil may be long lasting but then again it might all be over in a month and onwards and upwards we go.
Personally I would like the election called very soon so we can sort this issue oout once and for all and let the people decide whether the proposed tax is fair. If we the people decide it is then we live with the consequence of the action be it positive or negative.
