You have a good handle on the situation SP but could be a shell shocked from events over the past 12 months that can happen to any oil co at times but if you back black for long enough..... The difference is the scale and diversity of this program, 3 new regions in Yemen, Texas & Canning.
You are spot on that they don't spruke themselves, I think they are trying to under promise & over deliver with this new strategy. They have been quite clever in acquiring these world class opportunities for a song.
The development wells have shored up and increased production putting a solid foundation under the company meaning any exploration success from now on is cream.
