Fluoride ions bond with Aluminium readily which is one of the reasons Fluoride was used in aluminium smelters as a cleaning agent.
The down side for us is that if you use any aluminium as deodorant, antacid, cooking utensils etc then you are effectively providing a perfect way to get aluminium to accumulate inside your body and also fluoride has been shown to act as a way of drawing aluminium past the blood brain barrier so it can accumulate in the brain.
Fluoride may also be a leading contributor to osteoporosis...
Just plain nasty stuff and should be rendered inert after it is removed from the fertiliser factories where it is produced and it should be added to concrete pours or something similar so that it is removed from the environment as much as possible...
