That s right loom,
The institutions are in control of the SP .They can hold a sp down till they are challenged by another substantial holder who wants to accumulate .
For long term investor it makes no difference. But it is irritating to see the SP and value of the portfolio down for the day.
The ones that buy without proper research , or impulsive traders are the ones that usually suffer.
FEW traders do ok. The ones that got good hindsight:)
What ever works for you is best .
