In this study, of 827 people who completed pregnancy after taking the V, there were 712 live births and 104 spontaneous abortions.
96 of those spontaneous abortions were with women who had taken the V during the first trimester (within 14 weeks).
So women who took the V within the first trimester accounted for 96 out of 104 of the spontaneous abortions.
Conversely 700 out of 712 live births were for women who took the V in the third trimester.
Some Calculations to Determine % of Births that were Spontaneous Abortions.
I don't yet have the full data for this study, but can say that - the total number of people in the First Trimester group must have been at least 96 out of 827 people in the study.
The total number of people in the third trimester group must have been at least 700 out of 827 people in the study.
This means that the number of people in the first trimester group was between 96 and 127.
The number of people in the third trimester group was between 700 and 731.
So the % of baby deaths in the first semester group is between 76 % and 100% of all those born in that group. Whilst the % of baby deaths in the third trimester group is 0 % to 4.2%.
You can see that the V strongly affects babies in their early development - causing death of the embryo in at least 75% of babies during the first trimester.
The children born to those women who took the V in the third trimester were not that healthy. Of the 700 live births:
60 of them were born prematurely
23 of them were very undersized - poor growth
16 of them had serious congenital abnormalities
This study did not investigate the effect on pregnancy for women who took the V BEFORE the first semester. So a large question still arises as to whether those who take the V before conception can still have children.
How this affects the ability of these 827 women to have future children is unknown.
What we do know is that the V killed upwards from 75% of the babies in the early stages of development - from 0 to 14 weeks after conception.
