It is called propaganda. Politicians feed it constantly to the gullible and the ignorant. Especially the Trump inspired republicans who care little for public health care and want only to further their own agenda (re-election) at the expense of the very people they are meant to serve.

I know this because it only takes a few seconds to check the actual public record to see that the raw numbers have been deliberately manipulated by omission. How unsurprising, antiVAXers manipulating public record data for the promotion of their own propaganda constructed lies!
