The statistics very strongly indicate no - that the reported cases were nothing but tragic coincidence. The numbers are well inside what you’d expect from the background rate (which, I’ll repeat, is way down compared to the pre-vaccine era), and the breakdown by cause of death is also entirely consistent with background rates. There’s simply nothing there to suggest any connection.
