The initial results actually translate to an absolute risk reduction for an individual of about 0.4%. That means the Number Needed To Vaccinate (NNTV) = 256 (1/0.0039). So 256 individuals need to receive the vaccine to prevent just one Covid-19 case! The other 255 individuals derive no benefit..
