ah, but aren't performance shares issued only upon performance ... ?
i think dollison sees an opportunity here to deal a few players into a asx listing and to add value to the business and the bank balance.
You're quite right, what is lum doing with a part time ceo who doesnt really need the job .... ? surely its a matter of pride for dollison now, why lend your name to a basketcase unless you truely believed you could do something with the business that old management couldnt. show the industry what you can do ...
i expect some dilution, but i also expect new contracts in asia, a surprise or two out of the US and perhaps even a left-field announcement regarding the existing lum technology, which in the right circumstances could add value to the business. its currently valued at nothing, zip, .... what price lum if, heaven forbid, a lumasign actually found a niche.
all up in the air and conjecture at this stage, but there has been work being done these past six mnths and i have no doubt management want to use this shell to grow a business ... whether its THIS business remains to be seen.
as for the recent purchases. not sure ive seen a lot of oppies sales of late. i know i bought some more at .002 (off market) and at .003 as a punt. a couple of ords buyers at .014 and .015; but small fry at this stage. one things for sure; the business isnt going to go broke and is undervalued even at shell price .... so one big vlume day pushes it back to .03 and away in my view. the oppies have 18 months to run and .07 to pay. If ords get back to .04 they are in play and offer management the possibility of cash injection.
in my view, the game is there to be won.
