Rather ironically, last week I was reading a USA analyst's view on 2012 and beyond - and he was suggesting that China is already the world's economic superpower and was subtly forcing it's muscle on a number of fronts.
He suggested that it would take most of 2012 and further for the realisation of this to sink in to the western world.
Maybe this is just another example of the new world. If it is - it's making RIO's offer for Hathor seem rather expensive - and should not be considered a benchmark for valuation.
