    re: snooker - torah = truth What very few people know if you and I have ended up in similar places regarding Israel but have taken very different paths.

    You retain your religious fervour, belief in the torah and make strong arguements.

    I, on the other hand, have no faith as such but know I am Jewish and am a member of a group of people who's affinity and allegiance to one another transcends religious boundaries.

    Call it being a "people", a "race", a "nation" - call it what you will.

    As one of Israel's statesman put it (cant recall his/her name) when asked about the lengths Israel would go to survive, he said that the most important point was that "Israel should be in it" - meaning the world.

    That, he would chose above all else.
