I take it that your post was PRO global warming Awesome?

I didnt have the pleasure before it was moderated.

Interesting that Al Gores little movie about GC puts the US per capita at 100% above any other nation in terms of CO2 contributions.

Seems its not the Indians and the Chinese(who are major demand factors in the current coal price) that necessarily need to get their act together IF one accepts that there is a CO2 problem.They still have a chance at activating clean coal technologies and I believe the Chinese are HEAVILY investing in the research into clean coal.

The fact of the matter,global warming or none,is that China and India are NOT going to forego their chance as emerging economies by not utilising the cheapest form of power generation there is,that being thermal coal.By doing so would negate a large % of competitiveness that their economies now have.

The next decades thermal coal fundamentals are set in stone.There are indicators all around to tell everyone this.

The jury is still out on global warming as current warming trends are still within previous historic figures so to say that global warming is causing many of the current problems around the world is a huge unjustified generalisation imho.
