The twist in the ultimate cost of "renewables".

Whilst I am in favour of alternative power generation, there is a twist in the massive anticipated roll out of the.

Some claim they are the cheapest form of power generation. Well, that is likely to be disproven. As highlighted in the link below, the cost of the main components of renewable power infrastructure , cobalt, copper, lithium, zinc, vanadium, nickel could rise exponentially!

Copper particularly has reached record highs and is highly likely to soar much higher as demand for batteries and wires accelerates as expected.

Therefore, the ultimate cost of capital intensive renewable infrastructure is very likely to result in ever more expensive power.

No one can predict, for example, what will be the eventual cost of Bowen's mad rush to rape the world of minerals and roll out ever more costly product!

So, in essence, be prepared for ever accelerating capital costs of renewables and the associated power increases.
