So, sans glitter, is it a no better place for the average person to live than, say, India, Nigeria, Venezuela, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Sudan, Angola, Yemen, Kyrgystan, Ethiopia, Phillipines, Nicaragua, Indonesia, Haiti, Guatemala, Jamaica, and the many other countries of the world where per capital incomes are a fraction of the USA?
