    If you think that's bad, wait until you see the pending economic devastation in poorer countries, not only due to short-term demand destruction from rich countries, but over the next decade as those rich countries pull their supply chains closer to home.

    The economic despair that is going to hit export-dependent emerging market economies such as India, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam, Kenya, Egypt, Malaysia, Phillipines, Indonesia, etc., will make the US look like economic nirvana by comparison.
