    To be fair Bob, the extreme production costs were at a point where they were putting scraps through the mill, accounting for liabilities and still paying the same costs. Any company would look bad on a cost per ounce basis with minimal ounces going through the mill whilst retaining full costs. When fully operational I can't remember them going over 1400 at Coolgardie. Happy to be corrected.

    On a technical note - probably a stupid question - any reason why they couldn't put a series of small charges into the failed holes; using the small charge to trigger the large charge?
