If there was another referendum the country would vote leave again. Many remain voters would switch to leave simply to ensure integrity of democracy. Another referendum would open the doors to another Scottish independence vote as well.

The thing is referendums are divisive as hell and they sow deep divisions in a country which take time to heal. Nothing is as ever as simple as black and white and when you reduce something as complicated as Brexit to a one or the other vote everyone ends up feeling disenfranchised. "leave" or "remain" could never address the complex feelings of the British people on the EU.

But the vote was given and the people have spoken there can not be another referendum. Blame David Cameron and his party for the shambles that has come of it, because make no mistake it was their poorly considered move that caused all this.

Brexit must happen now and only the person to realistically deliver it is Jeremy Corbyn for one simple reason, he actually believes in it and believes in Great Britain. May will never be able to successfully negotiate it because she's scared of it. Only someone that is willing to walk away with nothing can get the deal the UK deserves.

I don't think Jeremy Corbyn would be a good leader of the UK once we've left or during peace times, but right now the UK is at war (metaphorically) he's the leader they need.

Think the Chamberlain, Churchill scenario but for modern times.

    Cheers,

    DMac
