"On Wednesday 7th August, the University of Sydney's Faculty of Science awarded Sienna's Strategic Technology Advisor Peter French with the prestigious 2019 Alumni Achievement award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The presentation ceremony took place in the Great Hall of the Univeristy of Sydney.

Peter has worked for over 40 years across oncology, immunology, microbiology and neuroscience. The award recognises his significant achievements, including senior scientific and executive roles in multiple Australian and US medical technology companies, as well as founding several start-up companies in stem cells, gene therapy and cancer diagnostics.

"I've known and worked with Peter for a couple of years now, and his experience across science and business is extensive. This award is very well-deserved and is a good demonstration of why Peter is such an enormous asset to to the Sienna team," said Sienna's CEO Matthew Hoskin.

Peter joined Sienna Cancer Diagnostics in April 2019. Sienna's management and Board congratulate Peter on this milestone."
