it seems many western based countries are scared of the Jewish vote and the Jewish lobbyists. but yeh, Germany carries a load of guilt from Hitler's reign. the crimes he committed against any they considered non-Aryan eugenically pure, eg communists and socialists, those who were different to look at, those with different religious beliefs (not only Jews), were devastating for5 the whole German community after the crimes were detailed and verified at Nuremberg.
the sympathy for the terrible crimes the Jewish people suffered has been reinforced regularly, particularly by Israel.
for decades I've been an avid supporter of Israel, until around a decade ago. I then realised the harms they were doing to Muslims in their country and the captive ghettoes they had managed to create for Muslims. they adopted the worst practices used against Jews to suppress and oppress the non-Jewish Palestinian people.
its the same old tribalism and hatred of Other people.
