You only gotta look at the Canadian experience to understand that uranium stocks can be run too hard. I think there are some important rules to stick by in investing in the energy metal!
1. Look at reserves first and foremost.
2. Check out the grades of the deposits - anything above 0.1% is pretty darn good for Australia. If grades are lower then look at depth of mineralisation and obviously the shallower the cheaper to extract.
3. Then market cap! As for any company on the ASX.
As always it will inevitably come back to fundamentals!
