It all falls into the same category for me, 'noise'. I just focus on company updates, make a decision on if I think the SP represents good value and buy/sell accordingly. I don't stress over what I don't know or what I can't control. Sometimes I'll buy things cheaper than I otherwise could thanks to short sellers and sometimes I'll sell at inflated prices due to squeezes. In 10 years it won't matter if I follow my personal rules.
