hmm this is really interesting - thank you for sharing your approach. I think a lot of people end up trimming at 100% but not enough people talk about it. all you hear is - this stock is off to the moon!! unfortunately that happened to me about 3 times with 3 different companies and I lost out on about 300k which would have been life altering for me. after everything...I am basically at a break-even. it has been a really tough lesson but it will only be a lesson if I learn and do something different. even all the "smart money" people trim on the highs - Justin Huhn, Kevin bamborough and Lobo. I heard Kevin once say buying on weakness and trimming on rises is the only way to play the sector. it really plays on my mind because buy and hold has really failed me. I think it's great you've got cash to buy on weakness and are waiting for opportunities. I really wanted to get boss when it was 2$ recently but had no cash. my average is $2.80.
