If the Australian governments had not been so anti-uranium mining and nuclear energy averse in the past, then Silex may have been able to build an enrichment plant in Australia already with cost leading economics. No doubt the Yanks would have opposed it because they would rather have the uranium enrichment technology restricted to themselves. Still hopeful that Silex can go operational at Paducah, Kentucky.
