I make my money by interpretation of articles. I do not require that every word needs to be correct.

But I have enough knowledge to understand that the Derivatives and specially the Carry trade problems will hit us some time.

Actually, both problems are not new and I have referred to these before.

However, Laird talks about synchronization and yes, there will be some of that about.

I was referring in my first post on this thread to mainly direct US economic matters.

One can only hope that these and Laird's other negatives are not going to converge.

If that happened then there will be little hope of avoiding a mess.

There are of course a third group of negatives not really discussed: Geopolitical, resourses.

So yes, taken altogether, I would'nt make a joke of it.

I am collecting cash to invest in silver, while still maintaining exposure to Gold/silver stocks.
