Give me strength but I was kind of skeptical of those numbers and thought I would check out the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Yeah so its a quiet day at work.
If you open up the PDF attached to the Oct 3 announcement, I looked up employment for 55 years and older and whooa...let me say that I would love to know how they think that 90% of jobs went to these guys.

Over the past 12 months, the number of long-term
unemployed is down by 1.2 million. (See tables A-11 and A-12.)
The civilian labor force participation rate, at 62.7 percent, changed little in September. The
employment-population ratio was 59.0 percent for the fourth consecutive month. (See table A-1.)
