Afghanistan is a result of US meddling in the Russian invasion against terrorist activities.

It was the US who trained and armed Bin Laden.

It was the US who supported Saddam Hussein against Iran.

It was the US who supported the Shah in Iran against popular dissent.

It was the US who invaded Vietnam on a pretence.

It was the US who overthrow the elected leader in Chile and installed a brutal dictator.

And I could go on ad infinitum.

I call that making enemies and all for short term gain but long term consequences.
